Reading Room & Digital Library:

Digital Library can be access form Classroom, Faculty Rooms, Common Rooms, Hostel and Faculty Quarters anywhere within the Campus.

Saturday & Sunday : 10.00 am to 05.30 pm
Library will be closed on all listed holidays of the Institute.
Private Photocopying & Scanning Facility: 10.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday) on payment basis.

Membership Registration
Admission is normally restricted to the Institute community. However, external scholars and corporate houses may also be granted membership with prior permission of Principal.

Book Collection:
The Library has generous collection of reference book, gift books, text books, case studies etc on various subject of management. The Library uses Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system to classify its book documents. Each subject is assigned a classification number [Example: Fundamentals of Software Engineering by Rajib Mal, the number is 005.1 MAL]. Books are arranged on the shelves in the ascending order of classification.
Display of New Books
A list of new books are displayed on the Notice Board in the entrance of the library and is also circulated via mail. A new book may be borrowed after it is ready for circulation.
Non-Book Collections Corporate Reports
This Section maintains the various Project Reports submitted by the Students. Users cannot borrow these and they can only consult them inside the library.

The Library has a good number of Journals & Magazine subscribed for its users which is separately displayed. The older volumes are also available and maintained. Journals, magazines & newspapers are strictly to be referred inside the Library. The following newspapers are available:

Students returning books after due dates will be fined as per the prevailing rates as mentioned below. The current rate of fines are as follows:
In case the student loses a book, the student should report the same immediately to the Librarian. The Librarian will then temporarily discontinue membership of the student till he/she obtain clearance from Accounts paying late fine and the cost of the book (s), as the case may be, though DD to Accounts and receive a clearance from Accounts. The receipt has to be submitted to the Librarian after which his membership will be renewed. If the same issue is repeated more than once, the student will be temporarily disabled from active library facilities till further notification from the Chairperson, Library Committee.
Digital Library:
The Library has subscribed to online databases for providing bibliographic information as well as full-text journals. The use of each online service is governed by copyright law and by the terms of the license agreement between the Institute and the publisher. The current facilities include:

Note: Downloading unrestricted of papers from entire issues of a journal not permissible as it leads to violation of copyright law and a violation licenses with publishers. This should be strictly followed by user.

Requests for reference and referral services may be made at the Circulation Counter within Office Hours. Request after office hours without the permission of the Librarian will not be entertained.

NPTEL
NPTEL is an acronym for National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning which is an initiative by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for creating course contents in engineering and science. It has 100 courses as web based supplements and 100 complete video courses, for forty hours of duration per course. Web supplements were expected to cover materials that could be delivered in approximately forty hours.

SWAYAM
It is a programme initiated by Government of India and designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., access, equity and quality. The objective of this effort is to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantaged. SWAYAM seeks to bridge the digital divide for students who have hitherto remained untouched by the digital revolution and have not been able to join the mainstream of the knowledge economy. SWAYAM PRABHA
The SWAYAM PRABHA is a group of 34 DTH channels devoted to telecasting of high-quality educational programmes on 24X7 basis using the GSAT-15 satellite. Every day, there will be new content for at least (4) hours which would be repeated 5 more times in a day, allowing the students to choose the time of their convenience. Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) has initiated the National Digital Library of India (NDL India) pilot project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDL India is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for leading Indian languages. It is being arranged to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular form of access devices and differently-abled learners.
