Shikshayatan Foundation (earlier known as Marwari Balika Vidyalaya Society) is a renowned educational institution based in Kolkata. It is the apex body of the following educational institutions:

Prominent businessmen who are interested in promoting education make up the Foundation's Board of Trustees. It is headed by Mr. S.K. Birla, an industrialist and president of the foundation, who is also the chairman of the Board of Governors of Calcutta Business School.
The Foundation laid the foundation of Calcutta Business School, a residential management institution in July 2008, located on a 15-acre campus at Bishnupur, under the able guidance of Mr S.K. Birla. Mr. Birla presides over Calcutta Business School (CBS), one of the top-most autonomous management colleges in Kolkata, which offers an AICTE approved 2 year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). The B-School, modelled on the top-ranking business schools in the country has a sprawling green 15-acre residential, eco-friendly and smart campus. The B-School provides an environment that is academically thought-provoking and made enjoyable by a variety of avenues provided to students for self-expression and development.
The Management Development and Research Center (MDRC), at CBS, is a fully air-conditioned, state-of-the-art facility with an exclusive academic complex, lounge, dining hall, and separate residential facility (50 single and 10 double occupancy rooms). Calcutta Business School is one of the largest dedicated business school campuses in Kolkata, with facilities to enable a 24 x 7 x 365 continuous learning environment where hundreds of students and academics can live, learn, and recreate indoor games facilities.
